When I was a young child, a bakery in a donkey-drawn carriage frequently appeared around my house, and I used to go to them to buy a sweet roll. ("Roba" means donkey.) They attracted many children.
Here I tried to express images of the illustrations for children produced just at the time those carriages were rambling around. When I remember my childhood and think of those illustrations, I simultaneously recall this bakery ("Roba" bakery). Their design was plain and simple, they seem to be out of date now. But in a way, I find something fresh in their design.
